As a winner of the Anne Adams Award, harpist Anna Ellsworth was featured in the opening concert of the 42nd American Harp Society National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. She has won prizes in the American Harp Society National Competition (Young Professional Division), Korean International Harp Competition, and Young Artist’s Harp Competition and was a two time winner of the Boston Harp Festival’s Stars of Tomorrow competition, subsequently performing in the festival’s Stars of Tomorrow concerts. Currently, Anna enjoys a diverse freelance career and loves to perform in almost any capacity, whether that’s playing in an orchestra or accompanying herself while she sings for weddings. She holds a Master of Music degree from Yale University.

Pianist Minji Nam, a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, has worked for Yale University, the Aspen Music Festival and School, Bowdoin International Music Festival, the McDuffie Center for Strings, Florida State University, and the MTNA competition. Most recently, Minji was the head Coordinator and Collaborative Pianist at the Yale School of Music.
Cellist Atticus Mellor-Goldman earned his Masters degree in 2021 from Yale University. DuUpon graduation, Mellor-Goldman moved to Washington, D.C. after winning a position in the Air Force Strings.

Celtic Fiddling
Baltic Celtic is comprised of Kaitlyn Likas and John Bimbiras. Their music and dancing reflects their shared Irish/Lithuanian ancestry. John Bimbiras is a guitarist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist from Baltimore, MD. He has been active as a performer since the age of twelve, playing at prestigious venues throughout the DMV, NYC, and Austin, TX. His influences draw from a vast array of genres and styles including rock, jazz, blues, folk, Celtic, and Latin music. Currently, Bimbiras is also a Ph.D. candidate in ethnomusicology at the University of Texas at Austin. He has produced two albums of historically informed Dominican music: Rafael Petitón Guzmán: a Dominican Musical Treasure on the World Stage by the Dominican Studies Institute Orchestra and Del Burro al Subway by Sofrito y Su Melao. In Baltic Celtic, a new project put together with violinist Kaitlyn Likas, they explore their shared Irish and Lithuanian heritage through this musical collaboration.

Bruce Gardner is a singer/songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and architect of The Bruce Gardner Experience. Soulful Solos For Any Occasion
Gene comes with a background of classically trained musician who performed and taught for more than 35 years. He performed with classical, klezmer, blues, jazz and rock bands in Europe in late 80’s and early 90’s, and in US since 1994. Gene still is a working musician, playing mostly in Philadelphia area with his band Whiskey Logic, he moved from there to Maryland in 2021. He is a member of National Flute Association and plays flutes with Flutes on The Brink flute choir. Gene enjoys performing for elderly people, bringing his students to retirement communities for recitals and playing solo, duets or a trios for different occasions and holidays.

Rooted in 50s & 60s rock, bluegrass, and trained in jazz, his approach blends different genres to evoke the modern sonic spirit of a surreal vibe found within the walls of a vintage studio. Henry Armstrong is a classically-trained vocalist and jazz musician with a passion for all things performing. Some of his influences include Ella Fitzgerald and Mister Rogers and enjoys singing anything from Carmina Burana to Chuck Berry. As a teenager, he was recognized as a top young vocalist in the state of Virginia with acceptance to the Virginia Governor’s School. Henry is currently a youth soloist with Woolly Mammoth Theatre in DC and most recently he sang as part of the opera chorus with Andrea Bocelli. He is also the lead singer for jazz duo True Blue Two with guitarist Andre Cutair. His favorite venues are nursing homes and senior living facilities. In addition to his music, Henry also holds degrees in American Studies and Communication Studies from American University with a certificate in Disability, Health, and Bodies Studies. He has a passion for social advocacy and currently works in marketing.

Mendelson Plays McGuinn
“Mendelson Plays McGuinn” is a captivating retrospective of Roger McGuinn’s career. Jason uses period instruments and storytelling to share this music with a wider audience. Jason evokes the vibe of Roger’s solo concerts through the lens of a new generation.
After moving to Alexandria, Virginia in 2010, Jason participated in a wide variety of musical projects, including playing in the Kennedy Center house band for their Pete Seeger tribute, and hosting the Clara Barton Sessions. He performed regularly with Jonny Grave, Alex Parez and the Hell Rojos, and Genesis tribute Selling Fairfax by the Pound.
His original project MetroSongs received attention from The Washington Post, Northern Virginia Magazine, Virginia Public Radio, WAMU-FM, and WJLA-TV, for writing, recording, and performing an original song for each of Metro’s 91 station locations, based on the geography, history, and ethnography of each neighborhood. Since 2020, he has called the Shenandoah Valley home and serves on the board of nonprofit organization StreetWise Studios, Inc. supporting the local music ecosystem.

Lyric-Coloratura Soprano, Rachel Rose Farber (New Jersey, 1985) began her musical training at the age of four on the violin.
For the past 12 years, Rachel has been performing with the US Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus, traveling extensively in the United States and abroad.
As a classical singer, Rachel adores sacred music, art song, and premiering new works. She has performed in conjunction with the Berlin Philharmonic Wind Ensemble, sung compositions by Berlin-based composer, Ken Shakin, and portrayed the lead role of Soldier in the new opera, The Falling and the Rising (Redler/Dye) (2018).
She continues to record new compositions in the Baltimore/Washington area, most recently for sacred music artist, John Paccheco.

Jazz Vocalist Sara Jones has toured in 49 states and performed in numerous concert halls across the country. She has appeared as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Ravinia Festival Orchestra and Boston Pops Orchestra. In the Baltimore/Washington area, Jones was a featured vocalist with the Jazz Ambassadors and has graced the stages of the Hippodrome Theater, Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, Strathmore Mansion, Blues Alley, and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Jones, who began her musical career as a pianist, received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and her Master of Music in Piano Accompanying at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. After graduation, she chose to pursue a professional vocal career with the Soldiers’ Chorus of the U.S. Army Field Band, where she served for six years. Now a civilian, Jones maintains an active performing schedule and is a professor at Towson University where she teaches Jazz and Commercial Voice and directs the Towson Vocal Jazz Ensemble.

The Pilgrims of Deep Run are a Baltimore-based Irish Trad (Irish traditional folk music) group. Covering dance tunes and pub songs, the Pilgrims give the audience a wide variety of styles within the tradition. With members switching between violin, mandolin, guitar, banjo, bodhrán, bouzouki, viola, octave mandolin, and tin whistle, each tune has its own unique character. Whether for festivals, weddings, background music for special events, or just a festive night in a pub, Pilgrims of Deep Run provide exceptional listening experiences.

Coming form a musical family, Tyrone has been singing before he was able to talk. First in church, then in school and talent shows. After attending Duke Ellington School Of The Arts in DC, Tyrone attended Hampton University. With music being a big part of his life, Tyrone participated in musicals, recording studio work & music shows throughout the course of his life. As time went on, Tyrone transitioned into DJ work. DJ Ty has been doing DJ work, in several genre, for over 20 years performing in weddings, corporate functions, Bar & Bat-Mitvahs, house parties, etc.

Vladimir Fridman was born and raised in Moscow, Russia, with music a major part of his life. In Moscow Vladimir received his education in music. With Jazz Balalaika Group Vladimir toured Europe, the Middle East and Japan and released few albums. He regularly tours Europe as a member of a “TransAtlantic Duo”. Since his arrival to the United States in 1998 Vladimir frequently performs solo and with leading musicians as a member of “Music Pilgrim” Trio – instrumental music, Klezmer, Yiddish, Jazz, Russian and American songs.

Wayne Thompson started playing the guitar when he was 9. He studied with Geraldine Swink, an
international classical guitar performer and a graduate of the Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music.
He later studied Rock and Blues guitar with James Trostle, a Berklee graduate for 7 years. His
study with Trostle included contemporary Jazz theory. His full-time career in music began at age
22.

Tenor Yoonsoo Shin
Tenor Yoonsoo Shin holds an Artist Diploma from Indiana University and Master’s degree from the University of Maryland where he studied under distinguished artists including Giorgio Tozzi and Dominic Cossa. He has received numerous awards from prestigious competitions such as a study grant with the Licia Albanese Puccini Foundation, a winner of the Liederkranz Foundation for Voice Competition and a national semi-finalist for the Metropolitan National Opera Competition Auditions. Mr. Shin performed the role of the Duke as a young artist with the Merola program at San Francisco Opera. He has gone on to perform at various leading opera companies in the United States including, Toledo Opera, Cleveland Opera, New York City Opera, Seoul Art Center and San Francisco Opera Merola program and has performed roles such as Rodolfo, Tito, Ferrando, Edgardo, Rinuccio, Ismaele, Pinkerton, Duke, Tamino, Des Grieux and Hoffmann.
